CLASS information

PERFORMING ARTS: Catering Prep to Youth, one fee, one fun combined class Acting, Dance & Singing designed to develop self confidence in public speaking, Acting, Drama, Auditions and castings. Script presentation; working with a Camera, TV or film. Vocal technique: breathing, voice projection, microphone skills, movement dance, performance skills,Stage musicals, TV and short films.

Excel Singing: An extension vocal & Music program 8 years & over ; Working in a small group class, designed to develop vocal technique: breathing, voice projection, microphone skills, harmony, pitch & tone individually and as part of a small group, basic sheet music, working with an instrument, band or within the recording studio. Students are invited into this program, regular session held in the recording studio.

DANCE: “So you want to Dance?” JUNIOR 8 years to 12 & YOUTH 12 years/over. Develop individual skills with co ordination & movement, various styles from Jazz funky, Pop, Hip hop, street to soft shoe all used in many music clips, auditions & life productions.

An exciting program specializes in that sassy hip hop American Style of cheerleading as seen in the hit movies. “Bring It On”. Run in conjunction with Gymnastic Australia & All Stars Australia. Program includes; choreography cheers, Dance, Tumble, Stunts, Drill, teamwork and leadership skills train for fitness and fun.

Our Just for kids "Gold Coast RAW CHEER Stingers" Team have performed at many local community, sport & special events from Australia day, Movieworld , Tasman Cup to taking out a number of regional , State & National Titles. Extension Performance Team for competitions Regional, State to national levels by application only.

PERFORMANCE TEAMS: By Audition ONLY
For those that want to perform. Our Just for Kids Performance team is for you. Catering for young local talent, our elite Polished Performance teams specialize in children’s stage / Film productions and live entertainment within the community. Students are selected, on their ability to cope in the competitive entertainment industry. Providing a bridge from amateur to professional. During the year team members are offered the opportunity to take part in various public performances, Special events and tours. Newsletters are sent home seeking parents permission for them to participate, the decision is entirely up to the parent & the students.To be eligible for performance students are encourage by making application and attending relevant technique class. Payment of costume/uniforms is parent’s responsibility & will be kept as reasonable as possible. COSTUME / PRODUCTION LEVY applies to secure your position within the team &/or hire fee for costumes supplied. For application or information see your Teacher for Performance package.

In house castings: Team members are selected from performance and on their ability to cope in the competitive entertainment industry; from Stage, Modelling, TV & Flim. Our Roadshows Entertainment Provides a bridge from amateur to professional.

Tour Team an elite polished entertainment team that specialize in children’s live stage / film productions within the community.Perfoming at various special events, festivals, schools, shopping centres and clubs. An extension program beyond the class room; Designed for amateur to professional students with two years plus training in singing, dance or acting. By audition only.

Workshops & short Course on offer 2010:
Film Club 12 yrs to 17 yrs. So you want to make Short Films-Music clips ; Join JFK Flim Club 20 weeks : Post Production to final edit, Creativity writing, Script presentation, directing & producing, Working with the Camera , be part of the cast or crew.

Pop Band: 13 yrs over “So you want to make music?” Can you play an instrument? Drum, keyboard, Guitar lead & bass, Sax’, trumpet, Violin or Sing. By Auditions only Check out our Youth Pop band. For those students wanting to be apart of our youth Pop Band: from Covers to create your own Funky sound.

MODEL & SCREEN: Short course 6 weeks only or 3 fully days : Design to teach apprising Raw Talent all the necessary photographic, TV and catwalk modelling skills required to build on a career. Develop individual style, poise, personality and confidence to enable each member to present themselves in a professional manner in front of the camera & catwalk. Self esteem, Posture, Catwalk, make up application, Hair care & styling, Photographic posing, TV casting, Photo session.

CHEER DAY CAMP UCA:take part for one day or two ; Unlimited Cheer fun be coached by the best American Coaches develop new cheer skills & confidence for the season ahead. Level 2 & up; includes choreography cheers, Dance, Tumble, Stunts, and Drill.

Fees are paid regardless to whether your child attends class or not. The only exception is if the child has a contagious illness, a doctor certificate will be required at your next attended class.

Bad sportsmanship/ behaviour or Inappropriate internet abuse is not acceptable, inappropriate behaviour will forfeit your place from the Team project & program. As a Team member; all care taken to up hold the team’s good will & name at all times. SAFETY: It is vital to show consideration & respect to others at all times. Equipment is not to be used with out supervision.

KIDS P&C Non profit parents & community group; Aim to help today’s Youth achieve their goals. Help with added costs towards outer school interest & sporting activities from equipment, productions, props, Uniforms, costuming, scholarships, Camps, tours, even Families of hardship. Help gain equal opportunity in Performing/Creative Arts, music and Sports. Kids P&C as a group’ run by Volunteers Work together, to keep costs to a minimum. Allowing for greater opportunities to all involved. All members are required to participate to their best of ability. Be involved in raising events such as BBQ’s, Family Fun Nights, Raffles, Drives, bring community awareness, make decisions towards funding, goals and financial allocation. Meeting held monthly. Be a support to our future youth & community.

SOCIAL GROUP: Through out the year social outing are put on to meet & greet or catch up. A great way for Family balance, from BBQ’s, movies to day trips.

PERFORMING ARTS Combined Acting, Singing, Movement & Dance: Build confidence and communication skills individually and as part of a group.

The program covers many area’s from Public speaking, presentation, Short script auditions, Song & dance used in many stage Musicals , Music & film clips. Multi Media, working with a camera, creating productions stage & Film, directing, editing & producing stage, Musical theatre, TV and film.

Unlimited Fun.

The program caters for Various age groups - in groups of 10 to 30.
Primary school - Grades 4 to 7, Ages 8 to 13 years
High school - Grades 8 to 10, Ages 13 to 17years

Facilities required : School Hall, Undrecover area or Class room

Class Lesson program from 40 minutes to 1 hour duration

Cost per weekly sessions from as little as $4.00 up 30 students per session.
